krybaby - although you sound like a new soft basher I'll illuminate you. VZ sells 60+% of its oil to the US and has for years to the extent that there are very few refineries in the world that can distill their HEAVY crude into useable gas. China is building a refinery and as far as I know no other HEAVY crude refineries are even on the drawing board and it takes many, many years to bring one on line. If the US would have started drilling in ANWR afew years ago(delayed thanks to the DEMS) we'd be producing enough crude to just about eliminate VZ as a supplier. Now that would put that little Runt in his place. All this all and no one to buy it.

On the contrary, he needs US more than we need him.
