Should we invest in Rusoro?

A conspiracy theorist could make a case for Rusoro being just the next step in an ongoing shady promotion involving VZ gold prospects. Fortunes have been made on the ups and downs of KRY and at this point, nothing would surprise me. If it turned out that VZ officials, co. management teams and so on and so on were all involved up to their necks in cooking these situations, then I for one would not be at all surprised.

I came across some very negative comments recently about the promotion of KRY by Roy Carson and Vheadlines, The Financial Post(who aggressively reported Gignac's strong buy recommendation) and a few others that I can't recall. Amazingly, after reading it through I realized that it was dated 1998. I have the link if anyone's interested. Talk about déja vue all over again. This thing has been torturing people for a long time.

Fung is a certified member of Canada's political and financial elite. These are not stupid people. They have been known to invest in hedge funds and hedge funds, as we all know, can play very, very dirty.

Macquarie, Orion, Yorkton. Know the history of Yorkton? Management was fined heavily and censured by Canadian authorities for unbelievably shady activities. So they became Orion who ended up with Macquarie. One of the patterns was to promote the heck out of something, sell out at the top and then drive it into the ground. When it was all the way down then of course it had to be sold to some other company who conveniently walked away with most of the value.

So. Will Rusoro end up worth $20-40 dollars a share with a huge resource base that includes Cristinas and Brisas and God knows what else? If it does then I, for one ,will assume that it happened with alot of collusion from people that we thought we could trust.
