There is no way that gold can replace the oil in the basket of the country ,

but all the mining industries and the related manufactured products could help very much so ,considering that jobs are the by product of all these activities which help people to help themselves.

If Chavez will be able to harness in a practical way all the riches that nature has provided that is a different matter.

Probably everything will be squandered in pursuit of his own eager.
