Let's not forget fundamentals. The LB ore body is very low grade. The capital and operating costs of exploiting it are huge. The environmental issues are much larger. Without the extraordinary subsidy of fuel available in Ven, it may not even be economic.

As part of a combined LC/LB project, it would be decades before the LB portion would become the most economic part of the ore body to exploit. KRY does not need LB. Perhaps whoever owns LB needs LC for their project to begin to look like an attractive investment for serious miner types.
