to some people it looks like a strategic retreat to others like me a defeat of far reaching proportion and nakedness of their financial status .

Trying to take over the two richest mine in VZ with the assumption that the ""partner of choice scarecrow"" was sufficient to make the shareholders buckle and give their shares up ,RML was very much mistaken and it only accomplished to show the ill perceived attempt was a non starter and a subsequent failure.
