Jimmy, that was so well written and thought out you just about had me convinced except for one thing. If kry's contract and arrangement is the way of the future and is in good standing, why not just give the boot to Grz(cancell the concession) and let kry get on with things? Seems that the Vens are saying something different the way it is treating someone that is supposedly in good standing and what we thought was the way of the future in mining in this backward country.

Wasn't this the original intent? Get rid of cocessions and go with contracts? We should have been set then I would think.

One thing stands out in this though. To take the shotgun approach and cancel concessions would mean that the CVG itself could possibly lose the LC concessions, which it holds under contract itself with the Govt. Mind you the CVG/Ven contract might be the way around this but some things sure aren't adding up.

Was the intent to cancel all concessions period, or just a select few. Originally the Govt was cancelling concessions that were left idle and unworked and those that certain companies that were seen as just using them for making thier reserves and company look better with no intent on developing them. Kry has bent over backward to get things moving as far as intent to develop goes.

This Kry situation has gone far beyond that imo. There is some nasty political and corrupt shit going on that has nothing to do with normal mining industry and mining law development. It can be done in a business friendly fashion, especially with those that are supposedly in good standing, if that is what the Vens want, but hmmm.
