Message: New Stock Options

It seems that many on the board see the "options" voted on at the AGM as a sinister plot by management to strategically position themselves to issue shares to themselves at just the right time when they know they can maximize their value. That is not the case.

If it were, they would be in violation of Exchange laws on both side of the border, because that is considered insider-trading and or fraud. Also, the money they made from their share positioning would not cover the legal bills they would be forced to run up defending theirselves. Take my word for it. And that's not counting what kind of hot water each and every person on the BOD would be in.

Stock options are many company's way of incentivizing and rewarding their employees. They are part of an overall compensation package that is offered and outlined to the employee upon their hiring. They are especially popular with companies who need expensive talent they are hard pressed to pay a competitive rate too. They are priced, managed, distributed and vested by an exacting set of rules so they can not be abused without legal ramifications.

What happened at the AGM was a vote to refill the pool that the company uses to fulfill their options obligations. Their last allotment was depleted based on a previous options granting timeline established at another AGM a few years back.

I think that many here should read a document they received in the mail from KRY a few months back. It's called the MANAGEMENT INFORMATION CIRCULAR and is dated May 12, 2009. Or you can pick one up at: http://www.crystallex.com/InvestorInformation/2008ReportandMaterials/default.aspx

Read pages 8-12 of the PDF file or 6-10 of the document. PDF re-numbers pages relevant to itself. The document drops non-essential page numbers until you get the substance.

Anyway, this should give you better idea of what has transpired at the AGM and what can transpire in the future.

As always, just trying to be helpful.

BTW: If the address is messed up do this:
