Ray - As I stated I cannot back up the statement that KRY endorsed Paris after the coup though I am sure someone can. Still I don't see how you can dismiss the possibility that Chavez MAY have a beef with KRY considering the coordinator of the coup against him and the interim "president" was a member of the BOD for Crystallex.

I'm just looking for reasons why Chavez dislikes KRY and what this means for our future options. I guess I'm wrong for trying to decipher a mystery and see how we might profit from it.

Crystallex Appoints Dr. Enrique Tejera-Paris to Board of Directors

VANCOUVER, Nov. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- CRYSTALLEX INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION
(AMEX: KRY; Toronto: KRY.) today announced that Dr. Enrique Tejera-Paris,
Venezuela's Ambassador to Spain, will leave that post and join the Crystallex
International Board of Directors as soon as his successor shall be nominated
by the President of Venezuela. Upon his return to Caracas, Dr. Tejera-Paris
will also serve as Chairman of Crystallex de Venezuela and as Managing
Director of a newly formed Environmental Foundation primarily dedicated to the
preservation and fostering of forests. He is already President of the
Foundation of Ecology and a director of two foremost conservation societies in
Venezuela.

the energy field. As Venezuela and Crystallex each move to ensure an expanded
role for the country's mining sector, we are honored to welcome Dr. Enrique
Tejera-Paris to our Board of Directors. For many years, he has been a leader
in international government affairs as well as in Venezuela's banking and
legal communities. His accomplished background will contribute significantly
to the diversity and depth of our Board."
The appointment of Dr. Tejera-Paris reflects the Company's and the
Ambassador's commitment to further the development of the mining sector in
Venezuela. It is Crystallex's intention to carefully combine mining with care
for and the restoration of the environment. It has already decided to promote
a Foundation of the Environment in Venezuela.
