The problem with the picture is the guy sleeping could be from any city in North America as well. While I'm as far from a socialist as you you can get i recognize that no matter what type of government is in power in any country in the world there will always be people sleeping on door steps. The real problem isn't what type of government is in power it is are they capable of running the country properly and are they corrupt. I don't think there is a government in the world that isn't corrupt to some extent. It is a matter of degrees.

Our problem is not with socialism or Venezuela it is with the man in charge, Hugo Chavez. Hugo has proved to the world through not only words but actions that he doesn't have the intelligence to be the leader of any country. He isn't rational and has no plan other that to stay in power. He is an ego manic that can't be trusted.

The reason Hugo is making deals with countries like Iran, Russia and China isn't to piss off the US, it is because those countries are the only ones willing to risk dealing with him. The money they are risking (especially the Chinese) is a drop in the bucket. Chavez is also stuck because if he screws them over where does he turn then.

The countries dealing with VZ are willing to wait for Chavez's eventual demise should he not follow through and become their puppet. It's like buying up real estate in a depresses area knowing that eventually it will be revitalized soon.

If we didn't have an emotional attachment to Kry we would have left long ago. Perhaps Fung also has the patience to wait for Hugo to self destruct. Perhaps the process Kry is involved in is dealing with whom they believe will take over for Hugo after he is gone.

If arbitration is 3-5 years and Hugo is gone by the end of the year the smart move would be to stay compliant and wait. How much would a contract to mine 30 million ounces of gold be worth if Hugo wasn't running the country. Forget the debate over $2-$4 a share and add a zero to the end.

The question is can Kry out wait Hugo? The key is having enough money to survive. With everything completed from our end hopefully we can find the financing to out live HUGO!
