I understand your frustration CJR. I'm in Kry deep but we have to be able to separate emotions and good business sense. (If investing in VZ and good business sense isn't an oxymoron then I don't know what is.)
jj, imo our MOC was "voided" a long time
I won't disagree with you on VZ failures to honor the MOC by not issuing the permit but Kry must maintain a position of strength by not causing a breach of the MOC from their end to have the strongest case possible should we go to arbitration.
I believe the main reason VZ hasn't come out and voided our MOC is that they have no grounds to do so. This is also the reason they have asked Kry to try and reach a settlement of the dispute without going to arbitration.
I'm taking your suggestion that we bill people for the water as an attempt at a joke. The logistics of doing these billings is not possible for a number of reasons such as cost and many people don't have a proper water supply.
If you thought the press was bad before wait till you have a bunch of locals waving Kry bills around for water. Changing the focus of the water responsibility from Hugo to Kry in my opinion would do more harm than good in the press.
Why do you think sending bills out to the very people who probably support Kry starting the mine will cause Hugo or Sanz to issue the permit or start a positive press campaign? Unless you have been caught in a political tug of war it is hard to understand that it is possible to do nothing wrong and still come up losing. I believe Kry will file for arbitration when we reach that point. If that happens you will see what bad press is really like.
