May 13 (Reuters) - Gold miner Crystallex International Corp's (KRY.TO) said it would not have enough cash to fund its obligations through 12 months "without further measure," and posted a wider first-quarter loss.
This is the first time that the company has brought out a 12 month forecast. They have only ever refered to a period of about six months... they only refered to quarters, ending at a certain date. I wonder if this is telling us not to worry, we're aware of our 12 month needs. It's kinda the same story, only on a longer time line......in other words...we're going to be around to deal with that when it happens.....12 months from now...I wouldn't worry at all about the financing, no Investor is going to put up 2.5 mil, at this point, what with all this negative thinking going on if they didn't know alot more than we do...and what they know has got to be good enough for them to put out 2.5 mil......who knowa, this could just be his pal Li Ki Shang....Chinese billionaire, who has got not just a few friends and contacts in China.......he could just be helping out until....?
I was wondering tho'. If this is a 'strategic investor', what ever that exactly means, then how could they get away with buying cheap, at this price, if in 2 weeks it 'soared like a bird'? Wouldn't that be insider trading? Prior knowledge?
Me naive?
