I agree that it alarming how Canada has allowed so much foreign ownership of our resources, and land. It is not in a countries best interests to turn over production of critical parts of their economy to a foreign country. It's bad enough that we have given over so much of our food production to China and others, forcing our own farmers/producers to give up.
