Li Ka-Shing influence?

I'm going to try and address this issue again...

Li Ka-Shing through his holding companies (Cheung Kong and Hutchison Whampoa), was / is a keystone investor in China Railway Construction Corp (CRCC)

Our JV is with China Railway Resources Group Co. Ltd (CRRC), a subsidiary of China Railway Group Ltd., China Railway Construction Corp's major competitor.

China Railway Construction Corp and China Railway Group Ltd. are not the same company, and in fact are major competitors.

Li Ka-Shing's influence in putting this JV together is nonsense as he is a major stakeholder in the competiton... and this has been refuted by Richard Marshall himself.

Any future influence Li Ka-Shing might have on Kry or the JV is anyone's guess but you have to keep in mind that he is part of the competition.

My previous attempt at explaining this was probably discounted because of my (deliberate attempt at humour) miss-spelling of Li Ka-Shing's name. ( I still like the nickname " Lee Ka-CHING", but it may have been a bit lame for some...)

I wanted to get the facts out, hopefully this time it will work.

Remember China Railway Construction Corp (CRCC) is a different company, and the competition.

Our new JV partners are China Railway Resources Group Co. (CRRC) and through them China Railway Group Ltd., and China Railway Engineering Corp (CREC)

Note: China Railway Engineering Corp (CREC) owns 51% of China Railway Group which adds to to confusion. CRCC and CREC are both ultimately owned by the Chinese Government.
