That cute little dog must be magic!!! What's his/her name???

His name is Monkey and he's a real miracle worker. Earlier this year I was severely depressed. KRY/LC didn't help but I was severely depressed because my best friend was murdered. After weeks of nightmares and days when I couldn't get out of bed I went to my doctor and he gave me a prescription for some anti-anxiety and anti-depression medication. I took the anti-anxiety medication to avoid the nightmares but I never had to take the anti-depression meds because we got Monkey instead. It's hard to be crying when you've got a dog like Monkey making you laugh much of the day.

Three years ago, when my wife was in a coma, I told her, "If you wake up. I promise I'll get you a house and a dog". (She didn't wake up right away, of course, or then that would have been a tipoff that she was faking the coma!) But she did finally wake up. And I did finally make good on my promise to move out of the rental and get a house....which gave us a backyard.....with a jungle....so that we could watch Monkey chase squirrels he'll never catch and clown around all day.

There are hundreds of dogs in pounds and rescue houses looking to have someone save them. So, if you've got the space, resources and time these dogs need I urge anyone reading this to go to petfinder.com and find yourself a miracle worker wearing fur. That's what I did and it saved my sanity.
