I talked to Richard this morning and my only question was, has he changed his view on a 4th quarter closing of the agreement. He said that it was in the hands of the Venezuelans. He said as stated in the MOC that written authorization was necessary to transfer the agreement along with the permit to the new JV. Written meaning from the Venezuelan government. He said talks between the two JV partners and the government was encouraging, but the actions were discouraging. So it appears that as of now all dates are off the table except the April deadline to file for the arbitration. I assume this is why the SP is within a couple of cents of the pre-June prices.
