In the past, China has been fairly aggressive when moving into countries and buying whatever suits their fancy with the pure power of cash...lately they've learned to ratchet down the pressure, as they found that the strong arm tactics were losing them business. They are very shrewd and calculating businessmen. So they are sitting in the background, twiddling their thumbs, waiting for Hugo to get his act together on our deal. Since we own the MOC and Hugo hasn't been able to break that ownership since he took control of Venezuela, he is now in the position of the go between. The price of gold, size of the mine and the selling of Venezuela's soul to the Chinese all point to the fact that his stalling and whimping out will only add to the weight of the hammer the Chinese hold over his head...he's a third rate politician standing in the way of heavy hitting businessmen who have already done their lobbying in the form of huge loans. IMO Hugo will cave in before their hammer falls, because when they've had enough, he'll be the first to know.
