..Venezuela does with Km 88 if KRY gets the boot. Who is going to cough up $350,000,000.00 to develop Las Cristinas (not to mention Las Brisas) with billions in pending arbitration claims hanging over the property? Maybe they'll just let the artisinals run roughshod over the property and use that as a source of kickbacks to the military and politicians.

How is China going to obtain a better deal than the 2\3 of the original MOC per the binding agreement? Even if the Chinese decided to screw KRY and do a joint venture directly with the Venezuelans....I don't think they would get a 2\3 cut....and they would still have to foot the bill for building the mine.

Chavez bragging that 2009 would be the year gold production doubles....then 2010. Here we are in 2011 and still nothing.

Throw logic out the window. that's what has lost most of us so much money up to this point.
