I understand that RM stated things as per Long's post. I was also under the impression that multiple members on the board received a different response from personal telephone conversations with RF. This is second hand information regarding Fung's alleged statements that negotiations were ongoing with the Chinese (I.e. The supposed visit by the Chinese to Venezuela a few weeks back, etc.). If the parties that reported a different response from Fung don't step forward with a public response, I suppose it is safe to assume that the statements attributed to Fung are without merit.
