As a shareholder of the company I agreed to allow mgmt to run the company as they see fit unless of course I have enough shares to influence the decision making process. Because I don't know shit about running a mining company however, if mgmnt really fecks up then I and whomever else wants to join me in a class action suit then perhaps I can have some influence. As a small investor I am at the whim of the market and the big players that influence it. If I had any influence at all it would have been to send Hugo over the rainbow and don't come back until we have our mining permit.
