Anyway, what you suggest is not as easy as you think, an arbitration panel is not a Canadian or American court with very potent subpoena powers. The arbitrators pretty much just look at things that are presented and don't like to have to try to force anything from parties, hence the difficulty getting document requests ordered, much less from non-party witnesses.

Moreover, even if they volunteered to come to the hearing, what kind of testimony do you get from a hostile witness? Not too helpful in my experience. Perhaps you've had better luck with that.
