What I'm reminded of is the buget negotiation just 3-4 months ago. In the end, the Republicans played ball, albeit "hard ball".

Everybody knows, everybody got to give some. I just hope they don't drag this on for too long.

Chicken is best played with bumper cars, not with the nations future.
