I remain confident that the private placement will go through as planned. I've spoken to one of the bond brokers involved in the syndication yesterday and we could be looking at another 1 - 2 more weeks, perhaps sooner to wrap things up. It is a very complicated and unique financing deal, as brought out by Penderite's article. These are some of the players involved:

Over the summer, and months prior, management made a supreme effort, in light of Vz pulling the rug from beneath us, to get onboard one/two main investors to be able to pay off the old note holders. Once a commitment was made and the subsidiary set-up in the BVI a decision was made to go ahead with the pp. The dollar amount was increased to cover off what would be needed to see us through arbitration. The pp documents have been in public domain for a while now so Penderite's article is just confirmation of what is already known.

The stock is thinly traded and moving higher the last two days on low volume. 3 - 4 million still sit on the bid at low levels ready to pounce once news is made public. I would encourage those, that remain nervous to hold on till we get some positive news at which time we will receive, what I believe will be our true initial valuation on the back of financing at 50/60 cents. Compare our lot in life with GRZ and you'll get an idea of what we will be worth. Once financing is complete any upside, including the demise of Hugo, any potential buyout offer or settlement or any deal with the Chinese will be icing on the cake. Vlada, $ 2.00 sounds great to me, I'd be on that beach with OG and the others quicker than you can believe. Well, I'm on a beach now on the Yucatan but the South Pacific sounds great as well. Cooler heads will prevail, selling at 20 cents when we are this close to the finishing line is not something I'm inclined to do. Anyway, good luck to all and let's see what happens here. As the Euro struggles and gold nudges back to $ 1800 just think what this lowly stock would be worth with some deal.
