instead of taking the approach that over the last 10-15 years they have made a fair wage and want to continue to work towards the end of this ordeal so we all do ok, management is holding us hostage with the concept that without a big slice of the award they will move on.
They have reaped a salary, tons of options which will now be exercisable and say they want 10% of the award as a reward for seeing us through arbitration.
Nobody was leaving or threatening to leave the gravy train while we sunk from a real company to a pink sheet court case under their tutelage.
Don't get me wrong. I don't think anyone could have done any better dealing with Hugo and VZ than Fung has. He has secured our case by doing everything to the letter of the law. I just don't see how doing your job warrants a huge cut of the award when many long time shareholders will still be losing money.
