For once EZ and I agree on at least a couple of things. I too would like to see Ven get spanked with a heavy 3 billion+ ruling by the ISCID but I don't see any evidence that the ISCID will rule in our favor regarding so called, lost future profits. If we win anything at all it might be to recoup the lost investment and maybe something small, but punitive, to make a point.

The bigger questions are: will KRY live long enough to see that ruling and, if so, will KRY ever get that money out of Ven?

Yes, I know the argument that the World Bank would siphon off the money, as EZ says, but I would expect that any country told to redirect oil money, owed to Ven, into KRY's pockets, would just find a way to stall that action to avoid the wrath of Ven. Because I'm pretty sure if any country did not pay Ven for that cheap oil (for whatever reason) that Ven would tell that country: "If you redirect our oil payment to KRY........ no soup for YOU"!
