There seems to be a misconception of how Visa makes money. The "Visa" brand and company is not in the credit business or in the loan business. Never has been and likely never will be.

Visa makes their money on each and every transaction. The more transactions, the more Visa makes. Visa gets a cut of the amount of the transaction for making spending money easier.

This is not a spec play in any way shape or form.
