The numbers don't always tell the story when it comes to how stocks react. Mastercard came public and went nuts. There is no guarantee, but likely Visa will do the same. Visa is a sound business with good fundamentals. This thing replaces cash. People use it not generally for large loans, but for everyday small purchases. A Visa card is no longer a meer convenience, but is now a necessity to many.
Not trying to do a sales pitch, but V is probably a decent play as compared to many of the other stocks out there.
If the numbers seem alarming, a good play might be to hold until just before they report, then jump out, then decide what to do after they report.
