Albert Wahbe
Chief Executive Officer

Albert Wahbe is responsible for the operation of the company and its transformation from a product development organization to a global marketing, sales, and service enterprise. Mr. Wahbe was previously Executive Vice President and Group Head, Global Transaction Banking at Scotiabank, where he led the evolution of e-commerce and e-banking to provide Global Business solutions. Mr. Wahbe was also CEO of e-Scotia, where he developed Scotiabank's Internet banking, e-commerce, wireless, telephone banking and smart card technologies for consumers. Prior to Scotiabank, Mr. Wahbe held several senior management positions in marketing and technology operations at IBM Canada. Mr. Wahbe completed the Harvard Graduate Business School Executive Program in 1998.

David Hackett
Chief Financial Officer

David Hackett is responsible for Diversinet's finance and administration as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Hackett has more than 14 years of finance experience in high-tech and entertainment industries. Previously, Mr. Hackett was CFO of Aucxis Corp., a technology and service provider to electronic marketplaces, where he oversaw start-up operations, public financing and acquisitions. Mr. Hackett has also held senior financial management positions at EveryWare Development, Alliance Atlantis Communications and Entertainment Information Services Ltd. Mr. Hackett is a C.A. and holds an MBA from the University of Western Ontario.

Hussam Mahgoub
SR VP Corporate Development & Research

Hussam Mahgoub is responsible for corporate development, product marketing and Intellectual properties. Hussam has over thirty years of electronic product and service development experience. Previously, Mr. Mahgoub held senior level positions at Canada Post Corporation, Bell Canada and Bank of Montreal. Mr. Mahgoub holds a Bachelor of Engineering, M.SC. Computer Science from McGill University and MBA from Ottawa University.

David Annan
Chief Technical Officer

David Annan leads Diversinet's technology product and service delivery operations. Mr. Annan came to Diversinet with more than 15 years experience in wireless network development at Canadian operators Cantel and Lanser as well as wireless applications and deployment at @Mobile and Giantbear Inc. in the United States. Prior to Diversinet, Mr. Annan was President and Chief Operating Officer of Wysdom Inc. As COO at Wysdom, Mr. Annan's oversaw all business aspects of Wysdom, an international wireless applications platform business. Mr. Annan has a BA(Hons) and MBA from Queen's University, Kingston.

Salah Machani
SR VP Architecture & Development

Mr. Machani is responsible for Diversinet’s overall product architecture and development, and leads the company’s participations and contributions in a number of standardization organizations including OATH and IETF. Prior to Diversinet, Salah held senior R&D positions at Schlumberger / Sema Group. He contributed to the development of industry-leading open standards in a number of organizations including OMA/WAP Forum, SMS Forum and CDG. Mr. Machani holds Master’s degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from the University of Paris, France.

Charles Blair
VP of Customer Engineering

Charles Blair oversees the customer engineering and technical support teams, which integrate Diversinet products with real world customers. Mr. Blair’s areas of expertise include data security, support management, software development management and project management. Charles Blair has held senior positions in both support and development since joining Diversinet in 1999. Before joining Diversinet, Mr. Blair was a member of the development team at Certicom and held a senior technical position at AT&T Global Information Solutions.

Jay Couse
SVP sales, USA

Mr. Couse is responsible for Diversinet's business development and direct/indirect sales activities in the USA. Mr. Couse has over 25 years of management experience in the industry with global software and wireless technology companies. Previously, Mr. Couse was VP of Business Development for Bitfone Inc., where he was responsible for the SmartCare product line, before that he was VP Business Development for Mobile Diagnostix Inc, which was acquired by Bitfone. Mr. Couse holds an Honors BA in Business Administration, Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.

Nigel Hilliard
Sales Manager, Canada and International

Nigel Hilliard is responsible for Diversinet's business development and direct/indirect sales activities in Canada, Latin America, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific. Mr. Hilliard has over thirty years of Sales Management experience in the technology industry, including software, hardware and consulting sales. During his career, he has held senior management positions with IBM Canada, The DMR Consulting Group, Amdahl Canada, Fujitsu US and TELUS. He has an Honours Degree in Economics from The Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston.
