I don't doubt what you're saying Caveman, but that would mean you think George is keeping relevant information from investors so that he can profit from it? :-) Say it isn't so! Who would have thought that our financial system is so dysfunctional?

In this case, it seems that either our regulatory system is inadequate, or nobody's "minding the store" and letting insiders dictate what they tell their investors.

But your point about management seems on the money. We had a merger, new stock supposedly being issued, good news on hole results, TFSA announcements, etc., yet DRV stock is down near historic lows. While the market is bad, most company's SP are not at historic lows, so it seems that other forces (rather than market) are at play. IMHO.
