Focused on exploration and advancement of mineral projects in Peru
I was able to get this info from George Brown today. I understand everyone's frustration because I am a long time stock holder myself, but it looks encouraging that they are doing everything possible to get a listing for MMI . It seems things are still moving along and many hoops have been needed to jump through.
This is the info I got from Mr. Brown
They are working on getting the prospectus to Final.
They need the auditors to give them signed audited MacMillan Gold to Sept 30, 2008.
These were not done after year end because MMG ceased to exist as a public company at Oct
31, 2008.
These are required by the OSC to show 3 years of audited Mexico history for the new MacMillan Minerals.
They also need audited MacMillan Minerals at Sept 30, 2008 and pro-forma MacMillan Minerals at Sept 30, 2008 verified by auditors showing what MacMillan Minerals would look like if the Oct 31, 2008 transfer of assets had already occurred.
They can not file the prospectus as final until they have all of these.
Then it is up to the timing of the OSC and TSX.
They hope it is a matter of days before auditors sign off.
He also stated that work has continued in Mexico except through the holidays and that they expect to be drill ready at La Cucharas by May.
They are getting "the kind of gold and silver assays MacMillan has been looking for since listing in July 2002!"
This all sounded very encouraging and hopefully we are close to getting a listing for MMI.
