Focused on exploration and advancement of mineral projects in Peru
After months of just reading this forum I felt it was time to start posting on this again, since the past few months have been just about bashing the Duran management and not really looking at the real problem, the unstable economy.
It is nice to see some old longs back on the this forum. I have been following this company, its executives and some key forum posters on this forum for years. You really get to know who you should listen to and who is trying to manipulate our stock to benefit themselves or others. Those who have truley followed the stock know what resources we have and the potential our property does really hold. We have established a good size reserve estimate in our copper property with great potential to expand it to triple the size or more. Our gold and silver properties show even more potential than our copper property. Obviously we have no control on the SP at this point in time. When management or whoever is keeping the stock down is ready to move the SP it will climb and based on the resources we have in the ground I think it will move faster than most people think just like it did over a year ago.
We have a had a few hurdles to overcome in the past few months and non of them were managements fault. A few being the frightening economy, price of metals and the biggest one China's/USA stalled economy. In the past month the metal prices have started to rise sharply gaining ground daily. Some key posters on the Duran Ventures shareholders website are keeping us up to date with some interesting articles. Some of the articles that "Motherload" and "jdc1" have found indicate China is starting to spend lots of money and their plan is to spend alot more. They are buying as much copper as they can. This is a great sign. One of there main target areas for these resources is in Peru. This will only make our property more interesting for a major to take out and who knows it might just be China who buys us out. As we speak, a major is probably loading up their pockets right now with all these cheap shares that are out there on the market. Why not buy as much as you can for .10-.13 before the stock goes into the dollars. Who knows maybe it is a major that is keeping the price down to buy what they can. As far as I can see George did not create this economic crisis, but he has to weather out the storm and keep this company moving forward as slow as it may be and find the best place to spend our limited dollars. If he was the person who was responsible for the recent article in Pinnacle Digest, great job. We have been noticed by new investors with a huge amount of volume in the last week and many orders waiting to be purchased as of today.
As for my association with GB, I don't know him personally, but he and his experienced management team have put Duran on the edge of a massive mineral discovery. Where can you find 3 potential deposits of Copper, Silver and Gold on one property. He and his team have worked hard to secure additional properties to only increase our potential resources which no other company in the past has done. Yes management may have made some mistakes and made some wrong turns over the past 2 years, but the big thing is that they have found some potential massive deposits that have eluded many other companies. He and his team are humans and like anyone else can make mistakes. Drilling in the fractured mountain side of passacancha was a challenge for any experienced drilling expert. When you hire experts even GB has to rely on their expertise to guide the operation. With the pressure his investors were putting on him he had to try whatever he could to get the job done.
No one one knew that this economic crisis would have hit the economy so hard last year. If management did they might have done things differently. We do however have a strong management team with more experience than any of us and we have to let them do there job. Behind the scenes, they are probably doing everything they can to try to turn this property into a huge success. Lets remember we are in some tough times and most junior companys are not going to make it because of financing. I think we are already over the hump and are back on track to positive outcome. Don't forget managment also has huge amounts of money invested in this stock. They are not going to let it fail.
As one of our valued posters (passacancha) has said " we all have to be patient", especially in these economic times. It will take some time to rebound, but I am confident it will. I too wish the stock price would rise to over a $1 to to give us some assurance, but we do not control this tough market and either does George.
For those new investors, you will probably be seeing some of the existing data being re-posted by some of the key posters on this forum and the Duran Ventures forum. If you actually take the time to do a bit of research you will see what huge potential we have for this property. I guess the continued bashing of stocks from even our great potential property is something that happens all the time. We just have to deal with it and ignore those posts.
Sorry about the long post, but like others it is time that we post positive information on this great company and not dwell on something we cannot control. Let management do the best they can in these tough economic times.
