Unless there is something we don't know about, MM should have about the same amount of cash as DRV since, the cash of both companies was split equally at the time of the DRV/MMG split. So MM should be as broke as DRV at this point in time.

Since DRV is a public company I don't see how they could just pass on the Peru properties to MM without a shareholder vote.

Of course if all of the current volume is a group trying to take a controlling interest in DRV stock, then they could vote in anything they wanted too down the road.
