His resume seems solid however and, even if he is not a world-beater, he has been in the industry for quite a while.

Notable that he appears to be making the jump from small scale application to (in his words) "Integrating Lithium Ion cells into really BIG battery packs", so you have to think that there will be a bit of a learning curve there.

Hopefully he is talented enough to balance those "really BIG battery packs" and ensure that the product is as safe and efficient as it needs to be to gain broad market acceptance. I presume this is related to their work on grid storage, specifically the Con Edison project.
