In China elf can succeed on their merits and just the chinese domestic market alone would open them up to a large pool of new innovative fast moving customers with the worlds strongest supply chains and much improved pricing and quality.

China is producing great quality in almoste every sector now and are exceeding most US standards and EU standards too which are anticquated crap anyway.

The future is in China and if EFL does not get in someone else will and will copy their tech and produce it at half the cost in China so better get outta NY state and into China. The US is marked for destruction as is the EU, both are being de-industrialized and forced into poverty on purpose to save the planet they say.  CO2 is not a pollutant. But it's better to go electric anyway so not an issue.
