Sorry for all the postings, this is the last one for now, but I though this is an excellent read and sheds some light on the situation at Polyus, which Prokhorov really wants to sell to one of the biggest gold mining companies in the world, probably Kinross.
The author also shows how Russian reserves are generally overvalued compared to those of Western mining companies. This is one of the questions one could ask CMM management: why link your share price to a Russian company's enterprise valuation, while it is publicly known that Russian reserves are overvalued?
