Westjet had some vote a few years back, and in its information circular at the time it described how its dissenting shareholders could proceed. At least it describes how it CAN work:

It is hard for me to cut and paste from that document without losing all the formatting, so just look at page 13, the section entitled "Summary of the Procedure for Exercising the Right to Dissent". Substitute "CMM" for Westjet and you have an idea of how things might work.
In the above, ACBA refers to the Business Corporations Act (Alberta). In CMM's case. I guess you would have to refer to the corresponding act in Ontario(?).
