Just to add a bit of third-party insight to Carib and Uall - Carib is arguing based on a lay-person's view of what the law should be and is (as long as you have not watched that sausage being made), while Uall is arguing from a view of law from within law-making and -application.
Both views are important here, and should be debated... but they rapidly grow frustrated with each other.
Uall, since you seem to be a bit better at interpretting law as the beast it is, what do you think of the corporate structure of WTG? The use of the holding companies in the UK, BVI, Cyprus and one for each property in Russia (even though only one of five has multiple owners) seems designed to lack transparancy. Could this be used as part of an arguement against the proposed business combination for transarancy reasons alone?
