So you were observing that Kent and Sheridan are both directors of Tamerlane, and Sheridan is one of the directors at CMM.

I wonder whether Sheridan might have possibly consulted with Kent about the merger? Received her opinion on it early on? At the very least, they know one another and work together and he probably has some inkling about what she would like to see in a deal.

I do wish Peggy Kent would make a statement about the merger, whether or not she supports it.

Heh. BTW, do we know the composition of the people on the CMM special ('fairness') committee that evaluated the offer? Or who they sought out for advice (besides Moelis & Company LLC)? Did they talk to Peggy? Wouldn't that be a mind blower.
