Koetjeboe, the hostility you are reading on these boards is NOT directed at the Russian people, but rather at some Russian business men, like Mr Finskiy, who are following deceptive business practices. If you have not already done so, I urge you to read "The planned takeover of Century Mining by Finskiy & Associates", which you can find on Stockigloo in easy to follow, tabulated form. Again, it's not the takeover we (minority shareholders) object to, but the worthless paper (e.g. WTG shares) we are being offered, and the tactics Finskiy & Co were/are following.

A similar drama played out two years ago between Severstal and the minorrity shareholders of High River Gold. Again, similar deceptive tactics, and unfair offers. The sharefolders won that one; Severstal ultimately had to pay a fair price.

I hope this helps you understand where & why the hostility is coming from. Hopefully, Russsian business ethics will improve with time, and with a new generation of educated Russians. It's not to suggest that we don't have crooked business men over here, but swindlers usually end up in jail.
