In researching various mining methods, I stumbled across ISR, or in-situ recovery, which is a very low cost, low environmental impact method that can be used in only certain circumstances. The Gunnison property in SE Arizona fits perfectly with ISR, and the Pre-feasibility study released this year shows it having a pre-tax NPV of 1.24 Billion, and a pre-tax IRR of 59.7%.

Those are remarkable numbers, and will place MIN as one of the lowest cost copper producers in the world.

Given how the juniors have been beaten down relentlessly, MIN stands out: with a market cap of less than 35 Million, and an excellent NPV, it is an attractive target for a major, even as it moves forward - fully funded through its feasibility and permitting stages.
