What is Elmer's committment level to BXX - Copper Fox buying Arizona properties

With BXX having SW US properties already, and CUU (until today) pretty much a holding company for Schaft Creek, this one is a bit of a mystery to me:

I had thought Elmer wanted to get CUU wrapped up for a sale to Teck so he could move on to BXX. I'm holding both CUU and BXX, but was thinking CUU wasn't going to be around much longer. As I consider Elmer a prime asset to BXX, I'm wondering why he didn't have BXX move on this property.
