When exactly does the European road show start??
Good question beedlebee. February is a good time to get this show on the road, saddle the pony, de-flea the dog, shave and pumper MAB, dust a technical boy or two. As I mentioned before it needs to happen before we hear news of any testing in any well. The purpose of the road show is to allow the present and potential investors an opportunity to talk to the management about where this company thinks it is going and where it has been since the last time they saw each other and to prepare the ground for what is coming. You can count that the conversations will include the failed investment in PHUN, someone will ask if they have anymore hairy ideas like that up their sleeves, and they will talk about the testing that is coming in Mako the next few months. How does FO plan to handle positive news on Mako?, where will the funds come to pay for its contribution when the time comes?, what is the burn rate at present?, what is this unitization thing that a lot of people are in favour of but none of them understand?, is the company for it?, yes/no? and how do we benefit from it?.
Of course, the obvious source of information would be the limey pink instos that B2B graciously alerted us to in an earlier post (thank you B2B you have earned your keep). But don't expect any information coming from them. First they don't speak for themselves, othes do their bidding. And second, I can just imagine, MAB and the Boyz walk in to their office for some informal chat, and what does he find?, a couple of guys huddling in a corner of the office tickling each other pink (again acording to an interpretation of B2B's earlier post, and I am not sure he has witnessed that). MAB does have self respect, and as such he would walk out, leaving those instos in the dark. No wonder we never get anything of value from them.
By the way, I was not trying to idolize Soly and Lanman, I was simply stating that they make a great positive contribution which enhances our ability to post and debate points, so everyone else's contribution also becomes richer in content. And Corter is correct, I was also quantifying what the extra contribution they make would cost if we did not get it for free.
