Conspiracy theories and scenarios in regard to XOM not continuing onto phase 2 in order to grab Falcon's land with MOL are not correct.

XOM will go ahead with phase 2 based on an assessment of the whole programme, wells drilled and tested, and the potential assigned to the the remaining and new targets created by an assessment of the latest drilling and testing. Some old targets may now be re-assigned a lower priority. Some other old targets may now look more encouraging. And the latest work would have highlighted new opportunities. This is the actual assessment work to be carried out in the next few weeks and until a notice is actually handed out, and that takes longer than a couple of days.

Anyone feeling antsy cannot expect a feel-good announcement from XOM in the near future. Day traders, like those claiming to have a direct line to FO's management in the recent past, are out of luck when a large company like XOM gets involved with a junior like FO. The news are dry and few in between. It is nearly impossible to speculate and entice/pump/bash the stock effectively. hence those jokers have left the board. Great I say.

To argue in anyway that there is a conspiracy on the works to steal the land from Falcon is incorrect and misleading. It would be a perverted thought, the kind that hands out free cheese to unsuspecting mice. The fat lady did not sing yet.

The only correct approach, is to sit tight and assess the Mako play for its technical merits. Nothing else matters to XOM at this stage.
