That is not the same as "because mab left they exploded"
When Bruner left UPL, the gas was already flowing. Yes, their finances were a mess and they were cleaned up by Watford and his gang, but there is certainly more to the story. For one thing, the environmental approvals for downspacing did not come until after Bruner left, and that played a huge part of UPL's success.
In other words, if Bruner resigns or gets the boot, unless a new CEO has a secret recipe for HP/HT water based drilling mud and a pair of magic gas finding devining rods, there's no guarantee that anything is going to change.
