Re Last Post: Just to be clear from last post, sources have come up with nil regarding information about the nickel that they've unearthed. Peter and Mike aren't allowing any information out of camp to retail.
Assays Away!
Multiple sources confirm 16 holes completed and still drilling C-1, a minimum 3000 mtrs completed, and 40% through program. Core sent to lab, assays back mid-june. This gives us an idea of depth of massive sulphide tail he's chasing to the body on C-1 eastern contact zone and the lowered drill price he's getting. Has he found the main body? When asked point blank, "How much nickel did you find?" He said I'll have to wait for NR. He learned his lesson last time. When asked, "Would one send core for assays if you didn't have nickel." He responed, "One wouldn't want to spend money unnecessarily." Our CEO is frugal, that is consistent. When asked about lack of negative or positive leaks, he said the Orbit crew is very professional and Mike is ontop of it. This might also explain why Noront isn't getting leaks either.
Not sure how these tidbits works, don't they need to help each other? Crone arriving Thurs. Crew will take a break at the end of week and return shortly after to continue C-1 based on Crone Crew's finds. There is so much I don't know about the actual onsite experience of drilling ore.
Question to folks with drill crew experience:
I wonder if drillers get excited when they are drilling, like panning for gold. Are they hoping their efforts yield fruit and are not in vein, or do they feel they are just doing a job? When completed are they eager to follow up pulled core by checking the onsite tests for results? Perhaps it matters if they have skin in the game? Are you just too exhausted at the end of the day to care?
Thanks in advance.
