For someone who wasn't happy, he certainly didn't do much about it. What about the SRP? What about acting like Potash Corp and coming out in public and saying that the offer was not acceptable? The shareholders were told that this was a fair deal, so those who weren't into reading up on the true potential sold.
Same story with Neil Novak. He could have stood up and said that this was not a good deal, but instead, he was tired and said to hell with his faithful shareholder.
Mac screwed us over, and I am now very grateful that I own not a single share of FNC. Looks like Cliff has put a pawn on the inside. His advise will be for the BOD and how to negotiate a sweet deal for themselves.
