i understood that MF sold this to another Fund (s) - friendly and that Sprott was the broker.

i do not think that Sprott took this down for themselves... but then again it may be in one or more of their funds.

depending on where the stock was placed it may be Less than what is required to report as an insider... in other words they bought 5% of fnc stock for 5 funds and that would be 1% each with NO reporting requirements.

point is - to date smith and crew have be UNABLE to convince but a handful of investors that we are undervalued... and if i were a hostile bidder then now is the time to pounce and bid 75 cents - then 1.00 later to seal the deal.....

at that point management can scream all they want but who is going to believe that it is worth 5 bucks for all the great properties....with MF and Sheridan owning control they have the levers to make the deal go any way they want.... the rest of joe public will be greatful to get out of this stagnant rut....

unless fnc management declares a desire to spin out all iron ore properties and isolate that threat - then they will most likely lose ALL the properties.
