"Direct Shipping Ore"

If the current conspiracy theorists are correct then the large institutional’s objective is to incite a stampede of sells at this level, it won't happen. Most of us see .27c the same as .20c -meaningless and not worth paying attention to. They are going to need to trade their own shares back and forth to reach a much higher SP to incite folks here to let it go and increase the volume for accumulation. Is there currently enough volume to subscribe to conspiracy?

There are several large investors waiting for momentum. Once a NR arrives, there will be plenty of competition for the profit sellers. Rago is right, the time is near, but not quite here yet. The catatlyst hasn't arrived yet. We are so close. Almost a completed assay for a Magpie hole this or next week. I think those accumulating for nefarious or friendly reasons understand this.

Yet questions linger. Is there demand or not? Do we have big money attention or not to react to a catalyst? I think we are. I just don't believe they want to enter the open market to get a some of FNC action -which is the reason for calling Rago privately.

But what is it that they know? What’s turning big money investors on?

Smith proffered a great hint in one of my posts yesterday: but no one ran with this since I wrote it. Perhaps the low SP has lulled us to sleep. For the first time Smith referred to Magpie ore as "Direct Shipping Ore." When he said this I was surprised. This is different from his prior references to Magpie, which referred to the ore as "concentrate."

All will be revealed in a week or two about what this is about, whcih I believe will be a catalyst. I think they found a pleasant surprise when infilling between the 200 meter intervals. That leaves up to 400 meters of DSO. I think they discovered Magpie’s overall average tonnage is more than anticipated.

DIRECT SHIPPING ORE (DSO) explanations

Two main groups of iron ore

High gradeDirect shipping ore (“DSO”), generally contains >60% Fe. It is used in blast furnace and onlyrequires simple preparation. It is crushed for sizing and can be used either as fine ores or lump ore.

Low grade - It is beneficiated, with cut-off grades in the range of 25-30%(1)Fe. It is pulverized into finer particles (pulverized ore) and subjected to pretreatment before blast furnace. The pretreatment process can be either sintering or pelletising.

Historically, much of the iron ore utilized by industrialized societies has been mined from predominantly hematite deposits with grades in excess of 60% Fe. These deposits are commonly referred to as "direct shipping ores" or "natural ores".

Hematite is a rich iron ore product with an Fe grade around 40-70%, depending on the deposit. Hematite is generally referred to as Direct Shipping Ore or "DSO" for short because it can easily be mined and beneficiated using a simple crushing and screening process before it's shipped off to a steel producer.

I know for sure that the FNC SP has not taken Magpie into account. Or SP reflects 19% of CHM’s SP. That's a rudimentary 17.5% of CHM/FNC Fermont and 1% of Champion. I'm not sure if this is lack of promotion on Smith's part. Obviously, via Rago’s phone call offer for .50c, a company is trying to avoid obtaining FNC through the open market. I think .50c is factoring in a Magpie evaluation, not a CHM evalution.

Fortunately, many large shareholders I talk to will not let shares go on the open market. Folks interested in getting action on Magpie will have to make some arrangement through the large shareholders privately.

I hope Smith is brushing up on his Chinese terminology.

FNC = $5.00
