That makes more sense for the initial $1.5M

From my read of the Bold press release, they are deemed "the company" at the start of the text, so the payment of the additional $700K for 10% would be in cash or shares at the option of BOL.

Admittedly this is just an LOI and the final details of payment streams and milestones, may be part of the final agreement.
