Yesterday America voted, and today Brian Seacrest announced, Jessica Sanchez
was voted off American Idol. I think you get what I’m driving at.
Popular opinion is not right more often than according to popular opinion.
Not only that, a fair percentage of the time, contrary opinion winds up being
the sentiment that prevails (the judges saved Jessica).
We are not engaged in a contest where the present opinion of the popular
marketplace will be the last word.
In the meantime, because of the obvious limitations of our influence, the
best thing we can do is, collectively, keep our cool. So, I appeal to everyone’s
good sense, even though the hard feelings are honestly held, to reduce the
repetitious expression of them (grounded on fact and heartfelt though they be).
Instead, wouldn’t our time be more profitably spent expanding the excellent
discussions we’ve had concerning how best to exploit the advantages of our
property holdings? Given those and given our best cool frame of mind, we
can be relaxed and confident.
We can profit one another by, collectively, teaching ourselves the cool facts
and the cool realities of our situation. Those realities are the realities of what
we own and how we best go about getting our assets fairly monetized.
