Well, since you need Board approval for a financing, it would be normal to do it after a board meeting, and of course you'd need time to get investors, do the paper, this is not abnormal. Companies need cash to run, after all.
Also, re Magpie, clearly these past few years have not been the right market environment to do an IPO. You want market conditions to be good if you're going to do an IPO and you need investors willing to take capital risk for such a capital intensive project. Magpie is more of a 2-3 year out concept, particularly as infrastructure is needed, so doing an IPO too early would ultimately just dilute shareholders. Being cognizant of changing market conditions is a positive IMO, so I am grateful for that.
